"FutureJazz” Live at the Cadillac Hotel is the second “FutureJazz” album on the Edgetone Records label by E. Doctor Smith, Peter
McKibben and featuring Laura Austin Wiley.
Recorded live in San Francisco at the Tenderloin’s Cadillac Hotel in 2023, this album features music from their first album, as well as music from the trio’s solo recordings.

The legendary drummer Billy Cobham (Mahavishnu Orchestra, Miles Davis) described Smith’s solo Zendrum piece “Glen’s Echo” as “Wonderful, inventive and triggers the imagination”. “FutureJazz” Live at the Cadillac Hotel also marks Smith’s ninth album released on the Edgetone Records Label dating back to 2007.
